FreeSCORM Free Course License

This license applies to a FreeSCORM course package only when its course page identifies the license as “Free to use” or links to this license. “Course” means that downloadable SCORM package and the original instructional content included in it.

Your license

Subject to these terms, Venture App Studio, LLC grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to download, use, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, translate, modify, and distribute the Course for personal, educational, internal business, client, and other commercial training purposes.

Commercial use

You may use the Course in paid training programs, employee or customer education, client projects, and commercial learning-management systems. You may charge for your training services or for access to a program that includes the Course.

Conditions

• Do not represent that Venture App Studio or FreeSCORM endorses you, your organization, or your modified version.
• Do not use the FreeSCORM or Venture App Studio names, logos, or trademarks except to identify the source accurately.
• Preserve copyright, attribution, and third-party license notices included in the package.
• Do not use the Course unlawfully, deceptively, or in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
• If you materially modify the Course, do not present the modified content as the unaltered official FreeSCORM version.

Third-party material

A Course may include fonts, software, photographs, illustrations, audio, or other components under separate licenses. This license does not expand those third-party rights. Where a package or course page specifies different terms, the more specific terms control for that material.

No transfer of ownership

The Course is licensed, not sold. Venture App Studio and applicable licensors retain ownership of their content. No patent, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights are granted.

No warranty and termination

The Course is provided “as is” without warranty. This license terminates automatically if you materially violate its terms. Your rights are reinstated when the violation is cured within 30 days after discovery, unless Venture App Studio has notified you otherwise in writing.
